I havent gotten around to scanning the Brown/Firestine family pix yet (12/03) but I do know that my Great-Great-Grandparents on this side were Louis and Caroline Hermann, of Philadelphia, PA, USA. Their daughter Louisa married Mr. Firestine. They produced Emma (became Madajewski) and my grandmother Madeline who changed their last names to Clark when their later widowed mother remarried to Francis Clark (and this my middle name though I've no Clark blood in me!). Madeline and Robert M. Brown produced Robert, Virginia (my Mom) and Lydia. Virginia married Evon Wells and here I am. My sister, Janet, married Michael Brandt and produced a daughter, Lindsey (11 in 2003) and so she's the last in the line as I have no offspring {that I know of ;-) .
We can find NOTHING about Mr. Firestein except that his first name appears to have been "Fred". Don't know where he was born or married to Louisa. We only know he was dead by the 1901 census which shows Louisa and daughters Madeline (aka Lena) and Emma living with Louisa's parents.
Here's a descendant tree from Louis Hermann, with the little info I've gained on my own with updates from Uncle Andy and cousins Drew and Adam.

These are higher resolution than needed for the web so that one may magnify them to look at the detail, and while they WILL load the documents into youe browser, if your browser doesn't auto-shrink pictures to fit your screen, I recommend right-clicking on each link, downloading each file, then looking at each in a graphics program:

Not included in the Bible are John's father William Curtis (1734-1849) and wife Hannah (m 1757), and his father William (b 1715) and wife Elizabeth Cuthbert (m 17 Oct 1733). That's as far back as I've gotten as of 12/2003.
Related via Phil's great-great grandmother Amy Elizabeth Marriner, who married Thomas Luetchford of Chipstead, Chevening, Kent, England to sire Phil's great grandmother Sarah Ann Luetchford Wells, we've got Harry in Bogota, Jan in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, USA, and brothers Howard and Warwick in Kent, England. The second chart below SHOULD contain the same info as the first except for Howard & Dianne's new (2004) granddaugher Imogen and their son Richard's wedding.
